I hate connecting to the internet at the airport. In every airport there is some internet access gatekeeper that you must pay before you can get online. At LGA, the service is boingo boingo and its costs 8 bucks for 24 hours. 24 hours??? Who is spending that much time in the airport. i only need access for the hour or so that I am waiting to board the plane. Even with massive delays, I wont need 24 hours of access. Boingo Boingo also asks you to create a username and password. I have no idea why. I hate the whole experience but I am a slave to the internet.
